About the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation

Your health and wellness is our business: our mission is to raise funds and awareness to enhance health and wellnes in our community.  In 2007, the Foundation launched the ambitious five-project Partners in Caring Campaign.

Now, four years later, all but one are completed:

  • The new 5th and 6th floor acute-care unit
  • The new MRI
  • The new maternity unit
  • Centre for Active Living at Centennial Park

Four projects completed in four years. Twenty-five million dollars raised.

This year, and with your support, we raised over $56,000 at the HSBC Securities Great Pumpkin Run/Walk.  Money raised will help bring life-saving and life-enhancing medical equipment to Peace Arch Hospital.  What does $56,000 of medical equipment look like?  Samples of equipment that we hope to fund this year include:

  • A Gastroscope for the Endoscopy Unit $39,000
  • 2 Geriatric-friendly stretchers for the Emergency Department $30,000
  • A Pneumatic retraction arm for the Surgical Unit $60,000
  • A Pediatric Colonoscope for the Endoscopy Unit $34,000
  • 4 Asthma monitoring systems for the Respiratory Therapy Unit $45,000
